Given that they have the same noname spark copy frames available on their website along with a very nice "LOOK" frame on the homepage I'll lump them in with the noname questionable BS

I'm browsing there now, all the hype around this thread has peaked my interest, The shear amount of blatant copies is laughable. Ethics must be a punch line a china, out of the one page there were 2/3 ads that used the original photo from the brand 😂

Just a note for some out there. Contact points like cranks pedals stems bars etc I would be cautious. I have a friend that had to take 1.5 years off after messing his ankle up proper when his raceface crank came apart. Warranty sorted but his injury was severe. China quality is not as bad as people make it to be ( me included) bur there's some very obvious and serious flaws on these millions of spark copies vs. a proper Scott frame And don't come at me with that its all made in the same factory, you know its not and its not the same quality.

they are NOT made by trek. They are by ENDURO FOR TREK i.e. any bike shop who buys from rush can get them.

Just a note on this , years ago I had to replace 6903's in a front hub. The previous chinese ones lasted barely a year. Bit hard on a set of NTN bearings , I roughly remember nearly R150 each Couple of years on I sold those wheels with those bearings still in there , so even if its just down to betters seals I ill always but the best possible bearing I can ( and I don't include Enduro in that , their bearings are mediocre at best )

That's because its a Trek bearing made by Enduro Its doesn't appear on any other frame that I'm aware of other than Treks , you are right you can find them cheap but then its the 7m one not the double row 11 or 12mm one

Years of experience tell me another layer of rim tape here would've saved you.
