  7. I was only 3 years old then but I lived what you are speaking of in the 90s. I totally enjoyed it. But when studies came along and I put on my big boy pants I dropped the hobby. Silly me. But living happily now and enjoying the rides. Thanks for the compliment.
  8. That's great! I am sure he is enjoying it. I hope the hobby does not fade over time. I am so sad I never kept on with it after the year 2000. But hey I am back on the saddle once again and enjoying it fully.
  9. Thanks for the compliments. I am glad it brought back the good ol' days for you. I am trying to find a kamikaze for a friend of mine as he had one as a kid too. But I am having no luck.

  11. So after lots of patience I came across a Pro Class when I did not expect it. The previous owner decided that he needed a change and some blue parts and we struck a trade for the frame. I sacrificed a bit for it but for me it was worthwhile as it completes my 83 collection. This is what the bike looked like many years ago which the owner had a photo of: http://s26.postimg.org/vhdiro6mh/20150221_210341.jpg The day I did the trade I ended up bringing home all of this - it was quite a busy day: http://s26.postimg.org/5ps72gznt/20150221_224504.jpg I got to work on the stuck seat post tube but it didnt want to budge. http://s26.postimg.org/tuswk6jyh/20150223_074537.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/prxa7d0g9/20150223_074543.jpg Eventually a friend of mine helped me with some heat and a vice and managed to get the post out: http://s26.postimg.org/oagf9jl3d/IMG_20150303_WA0019.jpg I immediately decided lets put this bike together with some spares I have and this is the result: http://s26.postimg.org/5n3q1w6mh/20150309_200649.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/a1gsrh6kp/20150309_200720.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/xtq4308ll/20150309_212007.jpg Sorry for the poor quality pics. 19. Cool man! Its always good to have your childhood original bike. That is a huge seat post. LOL
  20. Then I also decided to do a first mock build on the 82 Minigoose. The frame, forks an bars are to be painted candy red but this is just a mock up of the parts and colours. http://s26.postimg.org/a1hmd73ex/20141213_110045.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/ct0w3t1xl/20141213_121336.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/t5axtjg95/20141213_121322.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/lmrskwow9/20141213_121351.jpg

  23. Thanks man. I don't sell these bikes hey. Its part of a collection. But if I do sell I will definitely post them up.
  24. I explored another option with the 85 Minigoose. Decided to swop out the red and blue parts for Gold and added the white tyres. http://s26.postimg.org/id2atxds9/20141129_095947.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/tdxfyy615/20141129_100016.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/6zfriq39l/20141129_100029.jpg
