Hi all Can anybody give me advise on how to fine-tune my shifting. I ride shimano XT front and LX rear.

Sorry Backlash I only had a few options to put into the pole. It seems I sould have left out Cadel Evans and put in Cancelara

A question of interest, what did you use to cut the hoses ? I do not have a lot of patients so I just whiped out the grinder.

The shifting is super smooth now. If somebody can give me some advise on how to fine-tune my shifting I will by EXTREMELY gratefull.

I'd say beeing a 7 time (consecutive) winner, even if it is 4 yr. ago, must count for something

I just went and bought aligator housing and cables hope they will do the trick.

Though my money is on Lance I will not count out Andy or Frank.

I can't wait for the first mountain stage to see how Armstrong and Contador are gonna battle it out.

I ride a Shimano LX rear derailure. does not say much. How old are your cables? Are they Shimano or no-name brand cables and housing? I had the cables and housing replaced 2 weeks ago before a 60km race. The shifting was perfect before the race. I am stil struggeling with it now. Speeddemon2009-07-08 03:25:15

If I hade the cash I would but I don't so I can't

I do not have a problem with my front chainrings but, when I want to shift to a lower gear I sometimes have to shift three times before I get any reaction. Shifting to a higher gear isn't a problem
