  1. Just to confirm two scammers that I've had on my ad recently. Luts Denys (claiming to be from Ukraine) Micheal Hans Torsein (claiming to be from US)I see you've all been hit by Luts today too!
  2. Hi, The "Renew your Ad" link on email notification that tells you your add has expired doesn't work. I am using gmail. Also, I've been on the site twice since the update and each time I've had to reset my password as the password I usually use doesn't work (I did type it in correctly)
  3. I suggest that someone sponsors bike bags and people can just use them for the trip and leave them at the stations. The guards that travel on the train all day could ensure that the bags are spread out to deal with supply and demand. That would be awesome.
  4. I assume your Afrikaans will have to be up to standard? They are welcome to film my commute, it's 20min from Bryanston however my Afrikaans is te sleg.
  5. Same here, when i cycled home, as I was about to get onto William Nicol by the Mazda dealership, I asked the policeman if I could jump into the counter-flow lane as there were no buses in sight, he was more than happy to let me go down it and I zoomed passed all the stationary cars. Unfortunately once you pass the William Nicol/ Republic Rd intersection it becomes a free for all again.
  6. Thanks, I will definitely do that when I take the Mtb!
  7. Hi cat, Yeah today I opted to leave a little later (6:30am) so the cats were almost at a stand still. I also rose my roadie on the pavement and a little bit on the firm dirt where I could. I did tweet the CoJ about this and they responded with "noted, thanks". Take that how you like, hopefully we'll get a cycle lane even if it's just temporary
  8. Hey, I cycled in for the first time today. Took me 20min each way (quicker than with my car in normal traffic). Was really great being out on the road. My only concern is that I ride in from Bryanston, near Main Rd/ Peter Place and I literally don't get to experience any of the cycle lanes! https://www.strava.com/activities/406655434 William Nicol is crazy, especially the part just before the PnP approaching Sandton. The road is very narrow with no emergency lane/ cycle lane. Is anyone cycling in from Bryanston? Am I missing something here? Considering taking my Mtb so that I can ride on the dirt track next to William Nicol.
