  1. Once upon a time, I had some shorts repaired at Rapid Sports in Cape Town. The bibs were awesome but the pad had done one too many trans alps.......Rapid were amazing and replaced the pads for me. I am now in need of another set of Bibs, that are in great condition but the pads are dead. Rapid however no longer repair or replace brands that are not theirs, this is understandable. Does anyone know of a shop or company, preferably up north, Pretoria area, that does do repairs and or replacement, or even just willing to sell decent quality pads?
  2. Train your upper body is a similar way you train your legs. Get a punch bag n do at least 30 min 3-4 times a week.
  3. Great entertainment! Who needs IronMan, Thor< X-Men or any other scripted crap....when you have TheHub!
  4. NOTHING touches the Lefty!!!! That said.......Scalpel loved tossing me over the bars on numerous occasions. The Epic beats the Scalpel everytime! Just a better all round package. NOW...lets throw in a Flash..........different level altogether ! Me thinks I've woken the dragons here! Popcorn please.
  5. oops, think I stole that sale from you! lol
  6. Wow, me thinks a can of worms has been opened!
  7. read my statement, it had gone beyond DIBS. Emails and confirmation were all but set in stone. If the shoes fit, excuse the pun, the sale was on. What's so difficult about that for you to grasp!
  8. Well, this has been fun, but I have work to do. I'll just buy other rd shoes from a reliable dealer. Money will be well spent.
  9. no I'm saying we had been in email discussions. I wanted the item on condition they fit. Asked for a meeting point ASAP to close the deal, got no response so followed up twice in a couple hours, to meet to fit and pay.....in cash! No I don't expect seller to sit around waiting, but if a deal is in progress and a third party steps in, at least give the first buyer the option to settle immediately or forego the deal This is standard business practice, at least in the first world! No matter if it's $10 or $1000000 He'll the seller could even counter with an auction in public on the ad. Then the seller is the winner and the person willing to pay the most goes home happy!
  10. Then in my, HONEST, opinion, The Hub has gone to ****! IMHO! But hey, if that's how you do business.....I don't want your business. I think that's fair!
  11. Okay, so now I know.....honor from both sides is so Old School! Well I think Old School is cool.
  12. so it's NOT just me. The Hubers have become part of the Inkantla debacle!I'm so sick of it! I don't sit at home waiting to run to the sellers house. Just because someone else can get there sooner, doesn't void the first dibs buyer!
  13. Is anyone else having this issue? You see an ad. You want the item. You contact the seller/ Huber. You are in the process, fitting, verifying and whatnot. The sale is practically steeled. You send final details, meeting to fit, and are told "SORRY ITS SOLD". WTF. What happened to the integrity of The Hub and it's Hubers? When did all the underhanded shenanigans begin? Fkg bullsh!t.
