  1. What a sprint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was so close. Wout Van Aert just underlined his all rounder status. Third stage for him. 1x Mountain, 1x TT and now 1x bunch sprint. Incredible!!!!!!!!
  2. Maybe the Gorilla springs a surprise on all of us. That would be an acceptable alternative to a Cav win.
  3. The 3 man break has 27" on the peloton. I reckon it'll be brought back prior the finale!
  4. Or the crashes in the first week to it's toll, which just so happens to be a heavy one. I reckon it would've been tighter had Thomas and Roglic not had such rotten luck. That said Pogacar is an incredible athlete and is totally deserving of his victory.
  5. Or maybe not. Have a look at this video from GCN. It isn't easily noticeable that the E-bike is an E-bike and not an actual road bike, however the pedal assist is located in the rear wheel hub and is somewhat larger than normal. Which quickest way to pick up that it's not just a road bike. And the weight penalty? A mere 2kg. However the pedal assist cuts out at 25km/h so from there you're on your own steam so perhaps not practical for tech doping but it does mean that it's possible to some degree. To what degree I honestly can't say. Can An E-Bike Make You Fast Enough To Train With A Pro Cyclist? - YouTube
  6. So Wout takes the stage and Pogacar seals the TdF!!!!!!!! That's all we really needed to find out today!
  7. Yeah looking a lot like that. A lot depends on how well Vingegaard goes on the last third of the course. I reckon though that WvA's time will stand.
  8. I think it depends on whether Pogacar wants to add another stage win or whether he just wants to make sure of sealing his second straight TdF title.
  9. And Wout whacks out the best time currently. Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out for the stage win.
  10. He's looking good and Brian Smith reckons he's only going to go faster towards the finish.
  11. That'll be quite the top three. Personally would be happy if it works out that way.
  12. Wout is really good at managing his efforts. If anyone can top Asgreen's time it'll be between him and Pogacar. Will be interesting to see how they go but I think they'll be right up there.
  13. Yeah by both Vingegaard and Pogacar. Carapaz's dirty move got what it deserved. The youngsters are the strongest in the race and it showed through Carapaz feeling that doing a bluff like that was a necessity.
  14. He looks cooked and looks like he is struggling to keep up. Even Sean Kelly reckons he's a goner. AND then he pulls a dirty.
  15. They're putting old man Carapaz into the hurt locker it seems!
  16. I reckon that is that. Stage winner to come out of the GC men. Pogacar my favourite, Vingegaard another candidate.
  17. Perez has less than 10k to go. Can he make it?
  18. Lots and lots and lots of Sunblock?????????? ????‍♂️
  19. Perez going for it. Will the GC men allow it? A little over 12k to go.
  20. Yeah looks like he's dropping back. Just too much effort to get to the break. His DS seems to have told him to save it for tomorrow.
  21. And now he applies some common sense via a chat with his DS and seems to be dropping back to the peloton.
  22. If Bernard manages to catch the breakaway it'll be awesome but he'll be badly smashed and likely to pop first. A helluva effort though! Mad props to him for trying!
  23. He has been very impressive, hasn't he. I think he's also taken a leaf out of Sagan's playbook in doing so but it is a way to win the Points jersey or at the very least compete for it. The battle for green is definitely not over by a long shot.
  24. Now that's a solidly impressive ride from Konrad and a well deserved win.
  25. Colbrelli nearly did but saved it nicely.
