I think top racers often do, to save weight. (I guess only if they know that there are few thorns.)(Is that why top teams in the Epic are often plagued by punctures?) I tried a Keda Nevegral (sp?) & Crossmark on my XT wheels & they both manged to seat and seal without sealant.

Hi, New to the forum. I am looking for a starter road bike for my daughter. Stumbled upon a Trek 370 equipped with the (to me unknown) Shimano RSX groupset. It seems to be in good order (low kms) - will it pose to be a problem when replacing parts. Or would she just upgrade the complete drivetrain. Any advise would be appreciated!
