We have been riding there for the past month and it seems quite safe. I would not recommend riding alone though.

So the routes were awesome! And they had from beginner all the way up for those that, are interested.

Hi Has anyone been to Van Gaalen recently? How are the routes, do they have some beginner routes there too? From chatting to them it would seem so but I would like a second opinion. Is the picnic basket worth it (R 540 for 3 person basket)? Thanks

Hi for the Rietvlei suggestion, enjoyed the route! What's the safety like on the Spruit departing from Emmarentia heading towards Bryanston these days? I understand the Bryanston area is not great but how is the first part of the route? Can one chance it alone or it is too risky?
