  7. Pike RCT 3 Solo 160mm 75-80psi 105kg with kit Mrp ramp control 65 degree HA Rebound and slow speed compression changes depending on terrain and race. Rebound generally fast.

  9. Lay of the drugs????
  10. So did my second ride on the Ethirteen RS race yesterday and it happened to be the KZN Enduro at Cascades, and all I can say is it has a load of grip.Did not find it too draggy on the front but then at Cascades you tend to walk up the hills more then ride because it's too steep to ride.I did the first ride on them the day before at Giba to get a feel for them and it's quite hard pack there and found the rolling fine and again insane grip.I decided to run it on 24psi and that seems to be pretty good for my weight (100kg)could go lower depending on the course but found it to be right for Cascades/Giba. The sidewall is thicker then Maxxis Exo but not as heavy duty as the DD casing,so from the reviews and forums I looked at I realized that they don't like to be too hard and started at 24psi which has worked for me.I also decided to throw a new rear on and went with a Minion DHR and I must say I'm impressed as well. To me I would rather have more grip and know that if I rail that corner of have to brake suddenly or later then I don't have to stress. Don't know how quickly I will go back to my Ibex because it does not match this combo.PS. The TRS race does not let wet roots, off camber sections or wet rocks scare it.
  11. Will work with the standard token setup but not the Ramp control cartridge, which I am running so it won't work unless I fit the token cartridge back in.
  12. Does not work with the 160mm pike if you have the MRP ramp control on unfortunately.
  13. Bikemob
  14. R2200
  15. Only want to fit one on the front and it must be the triple compound.
  16. Anyone here run the ethirteen tires at all,the reviews are all the same with them saying that it has a hell of a lot of grip.
  17. Damn Straight weight pffft, weigh over a 100kg don't care about weight will rather have a decent shock and have a decent handling bike then worry about 250g or even 500g.Will rather loose a bit of weight on myself.
  18. Now this is even more difficult, from speaking to guys now and the agents for Maxxis I am even more stuck now.I am leaning a bit more towards the Magic Mary but flip their prices are crazy compared to the Minions and a few have said that I must run a Minion DHR on the front. This is so hard when you have to fork out so much money and know that that's what you are stuck with for a while. It's a pity that we don't get more of Conti here otherwise the Der Baron might of been a choice it has some good reviews on it.
  19. Testers say one big issue is tire clearance in mud,but damn 180mm travel and it sounds like it pedals very well.
  20. Ok which one a Magic Mary or Minion DHF for a front?
  21. Never had an issue getting a tire up with my Joe Blow Mountain foot pump.
  22. Was on the Spitty now the Patrol.
  23. Good luck getting hold of him
  24. Tried it yesterday but I don't think it's worth R5300
