  1. Hi Dorpie, had a set of 29er wheels built with these rims, have been riding them for 2 years now over all different terrain. Very happy with them, I think they are very good value for what you pay for them.

  4. Hi there, another option is to park at Padlangs, then take the Elandsrivier turn off and climb to the Telkom tower . From there you take the Grootrivierpoort track in the direction of Willowmore, you are now riding parallel to the Baviaanskloof route and you will see that trail from time to time. Note, there is no backup on this route so plan accordingly, you do have cell phone reception. Really great riding.
  5. Hi, been using Icons on back wheel for a while now, last year had the same problem, bubbles under tread. Other than the one problem no complaints. I did contact the distributor and they were willing to do an exchange for me.

    Which Headset

Hi there, personally would probably stay with canecreek as their replacement bearings are the most cost effective and last ages if serviced properly.
  7. Hi there, I would google Joe Friel and look on his blog for information regarding "crash training", there will probably be some info to help a little.
  8. Depending on the budget there are lots of frames to choose from, steel ,aluminium, carbon etc. Each material has pros and cons. Another factor will be what kind of riding will you be doing?
  9. Hi Gary, sometimes this is the best way to learn. It helps a lot if you are a practical person. I did something similar and when I got stuck either googled or asked for help, never looked back as now you can maintain your own bike. Enjoy
  10. I am now considering moving to Stellies
