Depending on the budget there are lots of frames to choose from, steel ,aluminium, carbon etc. Each material has pros and cons. Another factor will be what kind of riding will you be doing?

Hi Gary, sometimes this is the best way to learn. It helps a lot if you are a practical person. I did something similar and when I got stuck either googled or asked for help, never looked back as now you can maintain your own bike. Enjoy
