This is a bike one doesn't see every day. First and only time I've ever seen one was back in '04 when a customer brought me one to tune up the day before Tour D'urban. It was a few weeks old and had barely done 100km. The bike in question was equipped with Campy Record with Chamals. Naked carbon frame, I was drooling like an idiot the whole time.

The first bike shop I worked at, the boss had one of these. His fork was blue and had full XTR 9 spd groupo, rolled on crossmax wheels

Agreed Looks like an XC hardtail racer from 2002.

One of my former employers has one of those. He used to race it in the KZN XC series in the early to mid 2000's. Had a RS Sid Elite and XTR on Mavic Crossmax SL's

In my years I've had a few Colnago bikes grace my bike stand. Every paint job is unique. The one that stood out in my memory a Dedaccia steel frame with 9 SPD Campy Record. It was a religious experience. The Italian's don't make bicycles, they love them into existence.

Use the frame just don't use a lefty or a rigid fork, I feel a touring style headshok would be awesome for the Flash

Ray lefty's have entirely different internals to all other suspension out there. Send it in, Cannondales aftersales is awesome. I had a client at Sani2C break his 4 month old lefty on his Scalpel. They drove him a new one down from joburg so he could continue riding the next day. His broken lefty was replaced with a new one after returning home
