  4. Hi Hubbers, So I am on a 1x10 setup with 32T up front. Now when going up a hill, I move the chain to the biggest cog on the rear but it keeps slipping off that one and onto the 2nd biggest cog. It seems to stay there while I keep my finger pressing the shifter but as soon as I release the shifter then it moves to that 2nd cog. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/GeeMobee/RearCassette.jpg is my bike broken? Gary

  16. Maybe slow on the bike but I will beat you in a game of Squash!
  17. Hi Hubbers, So, with everyone showing me in no uncertain terms that I am way below the average regarding travel speed on my bike. How acurate would these units be? http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/ciclosport-cm411-computer http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/cateye-cc-mc100-micro-wireless I guess all I would want is: - Wireless - Current speed - Average speed - Distance covered Maybe a clock so I can see what the time is. Which of the 2 should I grab or should I just get my cellphone attached to the handle bar with a decent app? Cheers Gary

    How fast

Hi Hubbers, What is your average speed when commuting? I did a 20km round trip over the weekend which took me about 1hr and 45mins. Just keen to know what is considered normal travel time. Cheers Gary
  20. I am going to attempt this, You need 1 x bottle car shampoo(non waxy kind, motoquip makes 5L that works quite nice...not sunlight soap please) this should be easy to get R50 1 x bottle degreaser(clean green will do) http://www.cwcycles....gator-degreaser R150 1 x quicklink installed in your chain already that enables you to remove and install the chain in seconds how do I know whether I have a quicklink installed? 1 x brush set, parktool makes a pretty nice pack for about 200 zars http://www.cwcycles....toolz-brush-set R110 1 x bakkie that you can put clean green into..Butro ones work well should be okay with this 1 x lockring remover tool http://www.cwcycles....-remover-wrench R535 1 x chainwhip http://www.cwcycles....assic-chain-rod R215 So I am in for around R1000 ? I should just buy this for R600 ... http://www.chainreac...ce/rp-prod40997

  24. Cool, What should I add to give me additional climbing power. A smaller chain ring on the inside of the 32T? I'm currently on a 1x10
  25. Thanks! So smallest in front and smallest at the back equates to climbing like a pro?
