  1. Try http://www.mamelani.org.za/contact-us/ I know they had some entries left a week ago. you might get lucky
  2. You cannot be both angry with the organisers and feel solidarity with the firefighters and have a healthy perspective on life and what is important. 1. I find it really strange that the organisers do not cater for disasters. I thought they would have a separate route on standby. Perhaps that's naive on my part. 2. What if I don't want to ride in "solidarity"? What if I donated to the firefighters directly in solidarity. I paid for a race... I entered a race... What now? Fun ride, moonlight mass style? The organisers are taking the p*ss.
  3. Not really.. there's no convenient coloured gangster stereotype to lash onto. Even though this video shows something much more serious happening... it's happening to a clearly dark brown/black man and the people attacking him are "higher up" in colour/race. Ain't gonna be no outrage.
  4. Of course not. I find physical violence almost always unjustifiable. Unless you are in a fight... Which is hard to be in if you are on the outside with your friends and you're attacking a lone person on the inside of a car.
  5. The violence is never justifiable. But if they did exchange words, its more understandable no? And if it's more understandable then this hysteria is a little misplaced and we can get on with it. Chris Rock says it best....
  6. Does anyone know wwhere I can get these in CT? Below is a link to what I am talking about. http://backalleybikes.wordpress.com/2012/08/15/hold-fast/
