  1. Yes they will hurt you. But the pedal size and the amount of grips makes it much less likely to happen compared to shitty bear traps.
  2. Go for Nukeproofs neutron pedals. Awesome product. Just remember to tighten the pins before riding with them.

  5. The problem is that it doesn't look like the bike is reacting as it should. Some problems I see that makes me think it is motorized. 1. As he falls it looks like the rear wheel touches the ground. This happens before the bike starts to spin when he tries to pick it up. Given the amount of grip those tires have it should have brought the speed down from 50km/h or whatever he was doing. 2. Your understanding of momentum and gyroscopic forces are flawed. If the wheel still had enough energy in the rotation after the fall to cause that, the moment the rear wheel touched the ground the bike should have started off in it's spin at maximum speed almost instantaneously. From the video it looks as though the speed of the bike's rotation increases after the rider places it back on the ground.

  8. At R600 you can buy a whole new M445 brake on one side.
  9. Yap. And the only reason they ride clipless is because of the pedaling sections. For pure control over a bike (ie the two races Sam won this year) flat pedals are the way to go. I ride with Nukeproof Neutrons (same as Sam Hill). I enjoy my riding 100 times more than what I used to clipped in. Even if that means my Strava times suffer a little under pedaling.
  10. Okay, cool will check it out. Might also go the ESEA route. But don't want to pay to play while I suck this much.
  11. Normally play aim_maps, and Pickup Games. Haven't tried the Matchmaking. Maybe if we get a group of 5 people finding a game will be easier. Not all that interested waiting hours for a game! :/ Yeah, and now I suck... :'( Problem with playing pickup games is that there is no matchmaking. You just play against some of SA's top players. And get raped. Particularly with the way I am playing at the moment. And it is not noob friendly, simply because of the gap in skill on normal FFA servers compared to the top players who never set foot on FFA servers.
