  1. Thanks for the response Thug & Rampies, I am at a total loss. I have even tried to uninstall and re-install the Suunto App on my phone a number of times. One of the people I ride with has exactly the same issue. When we still connected our watches to a PC this issue did not arise.
  2. Hi All Is anyone else having problems with the downloading of " rides " longer than 90 Km , 02hours ( not to ride the (90 km ) on the Suunto mobile app ICG spinning bike rides ( at Virgin Active Gym) of 45 minutes to 90 minutes download without a problem.
  3. Kal Kikillas
  4. I remeber this show I was young but do remember it
  5. Thanks much appreciated Peetwindhoek
  6. Hi all Are the results of this race posted somewhere I cannot find them. Also the Jetline photos also seem to be taking an age to be made available
  7. Maybe the race pack information will clarify/ confirm the correct start times
  8. Thanks much appreciated
  9. Hi All - is there a list of the start times from the Elite to the back markers like me. I tried to find the list on the AGS website and on the event website without success
  10. Hi Hubbers - I lost my cycling computer on the morning of 06 September 2014 between Brynston Scout Hall and Fratellis on the Spruit. I know it is not an expensive computer and it like looking for a needle in a haystack. Please if anyone happens to pick the computer up I would be most grateful to hear from you. Regards Gavin
  11. Do you think people will look at me funny if I wear a life jacket and tie a piece of string to my bike for the "deep water crossing" portion of the race??
  12. Hi Hubbers It is seldom that one comes across an on line dealer which not only backs the prodcucts it sell, but also goes the extra mile when it comes to delivering on promises. Andre from K.Man is just such a dealer. I had a problem with a T- 04 light supplied by K.Man. I emailed Andre , who immediately responded to my query. I got no excuses , if buts or maybes. Andre made an arrangement to deliver a replacement battery to my home at an agreed time ON A PUBLIC HOLIDAY. I receievd my battery on time and as promised. If anyone is considering purchasing a bike light , I have no hesitation in recomending Andre and K.Man lights. Regards Gavin Smith
  13. Ok - too fast for me sorry.
  14. Is your pace 30 to 40 Km an hour or the distance. Having ridden Heia Safari , I would love to see anyone avaerage 30/40km and hour on the trails at Heia. Just asking.
  15. Hi Darren The event was great. Thanks to French , Mark and the rest of his "racing snake" and to Reinette for helping me with "some light". Also to Darren thanks for the loan of the battery pack , it made seeing where the gruop was going so much easier. I will also definately be back, hopefully to ride the trail during the day before the next night ride.
  16. I think that will depend on how techical the route is on how long it will take to finish. There are apparrently sections through trees with switch backs. I rode Thaba last weekend in the day , did not consentrate for a split second and a hit a tree. Don't worry the tree is fine. . I spoke to Darren ,who said the 20km route is not too techical and that the trails have been made wider for this event. .
  17. Maybe we shoulld ride with be red "L" signs on our backs. Ha ha ha
  18. Are you riding the 10Km or @0 Km event??
  19. \Which event are you riding, the Heia Safari event? If so it will also be my first night race.
  20. Hi Gerhard - this is another option to consider
  21. Thanks Howardsteele - you can fix just about anything bicycle related with a cable tie
  22. Thanks - I ride a Specialized Crave. I have lot of free cable.
