I don't think you can go wrong with any of Shimano XT/XTR or Look X Tracks. I have most recently been using X Track carbons, which replaced a set of XTRs. Both are very durable. The X Tracks have taken multiple rock strikes without any issue. If I was making a decision I would go purely on price. I would go with X Track Race (the non-carbon version) based on value for money.

Cois I’ve also been reading this thread since you first got the news, but never posted. It’s an emotional rollercoaster just reading it. Your strength and positivity is inspirational. Keep fighting. Hoping you get some good news, you certainly deserve it.
