I went the same route. No DSTV. Bought a Mede8r and have all my content on that. 3TB worth. More series and movies that I can watch. Only thing I miss is sport. I am not a huge sports watcher but I always want to watch the major events.

This whole thing is a bit of a cluster at the moment. I dont even think Discovery know what they are doing. When I sent a query I basically got a cut and paste vague answer about more info to follow at the end of Jan. You would think they would know the details before the launch?
