I know that we are in the snakes environment but what freaks me out is cycling through overgrown paths where you can barely see the trail. I am not shy to say that on some hot days i changed my route slightly to avoid such routes. Does anybody know if a cyclist was ever bitten by a snake while out riding?

On a serious note 47 Km ? This is the Western Cape we have thousands of Kilometeres to ride and the best route is 47Km why not just cancel it then.

At least i will manage a sub 2 argus

Wow!!! That is serious skill. The only problem is that he make it look so easy! Try at home and you will get to know your local Doctors very well....

According to my knowledge You can not get a day pass from the BP anymore but you can get it from all the local bike shops as well as Somerbosch

I just entered and this will be my first stage race opted for the medium route 70/40 not to sure about the legs on the second day.
