I have a B17 too and it is like Sepia say's it .... , you'll never be sorry . Evo bikes in Durbanville , speak to Naas , he got it for me for R1695.00 when all the other guy's were charging R2500.00 for the same thing . I have never looked back !

RESPECT for each other , not even the laws of the country will or has been able to remedy that unfortunately . The solution lies within each of us , everyone in South Africa . The wonder is that if that change takes place within each of us , then not only cycling will become safer however a list of other urgent changes will take place . Apologies for these harsh thoughts , I am part of the road accident statistics and had to be resuscitated 3 times after being run over on a gravel road by accident by a cellphone yielding speedster on a farm gravel road , not on purpose ! Accidents happen , giving respect is hard work and I doubt if our South African collective is up to the challenge by asking nicely .... Not skeptic or sarcastic or sour grapes from my side accidents , are not called so for no reason neither is RESPECT !

My son started BMXing and we need to replace the rear hub and rebuild the wheel , I please need pointers into the right direction on where to buy/source affordable parts , tried the internet/online stores however the cost of a single hub is more than the bike cost us new , don't mind used parts that can be serviced and used as we will buy a new bike within 6 months , cannot wait to get my son rolling again soon !!

Consider Tygerberg MTB Club membership for December it includes all Welvanpass trails in Wellington and all our local Durbanville trails , combine these with some LSD rides in between the farms on the gravel roads and you will have a perfect mix of riding !

We cannot compete with stainless steel and the only way to up our chances of staying out of this kind of trouble is to think on behalf of the motorists driving around us and to think again . a Motorist is comfy and safe in his car and just do not care in many instances . the proof is the poor driving , falsified licences , over full scrap yards and the booming panelbeating industry in SA . Cases get thrown out of court due to poor policing and the cyclist sits with the mess afterwards . I speak from experience , I was run over and two years later still recovering , the case just thrown out of court and no repercussion for the driver ! THINK ON BEHALF OF THE MOTORISTS , buy another red flashing rear light , wear a fluorescent / reflective outfit ! It is too late for Daniele now and he is going to take the long road to recovery . Time off work , loss of income , discomfort , self doubt and a burden on his family . THINK AND THINK AGAIN ON BEHALF OF THE MOTORISTS , we have to co-exist and respect each other . 10/10 great route , loads of trails we will only ride on special occasions , agree that the school deserves a increased entrance fee for a superior product delivered , well done and thank you to all of the people who gave their time unselfishly to make mine great !

Guy's we cannot compete with stainless steel and the motorists are in their safe cocoons . Putting on make -up , reading notes / newspapers , drinking coffee , smoking , eating breakfast , reading messages on their phones and what not else , they do not have time to consider us on our bikes too many other things to juggle , oh yes and the steering wheel , clutch , gears and brakes , unfortunately the side issue , we do not fit into this picture and we need to think for them again and again , the best way for us to stay safe ! HOW DO WE TAG ,NAME AND SHAME ONE OF THESE NEGLIGENT , IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVERS IS THE QUESTION ?
