I remeber a couple years ago we used to pay R1/km... R40 bux for the classic at an MTB event and R100 for Amashova.. surely inflation hasnt risen that much!!??

i was once told by brother Burry about clipless pedals and it makes sense. You have two main contact points on a bicycle-your hands and your feet..Riding with flats is like riding with no hands.. You will find...in time...that clipless pedals will give you more peace of mind in technical stuff than flats. And ul get up with far less gouges in your shins!!

Fisrtly with the compact you gonna save weight Secondly my first road bike had a triple crank and i NEVER used the small ring. To be honest it was actually a waste. And i didnt not use it cause it was "granny" gear...the ratio is just unrealistic. Get the compact cause then you kind of "forced" to use the small ring...if you know what i mean

I'd Say a bit of Both..Theres no doubt they do prevent a certain amount of irritating punctures but they can be puncturers themselves..also it irritates the hell out of you when a thorn goes through them!!

Sheesh Guys...how are we ever gonna win this battle.. a mate of mine was killed by a truck about 3 weeks ago...driver cut the corner and he went under..Surely truck driver know thier trailers take a smaller turning cricle than the horse?? Terrible news
