Who the hell had stock for you? I've been waiting on mine for ages. hey Tarmac, I did my home work on the net 5/6 months back and placed my order with my local bike shop. I paid for my FRAME months before it arrived. I got the only size 54 in WP :-) I have been on a 2004 Giant TCR "Carbon" since DEC 2003 The Giant did not respond as well when i stood up on a hill to climb. I am not light at 85kg I AM NOW ENJOYING CLIMBING 4 THE FIRST TIME EVER. I am loving it, it is very very resonsive. A few of my friends that ride league have riden it and are amazed at the stiffness and how responsive it is, it goes down hill like a dream and BEATS THE BENDS :-) IT LOVES going up and down hill and the S BENDS. They are on a 2009 Scott Addict, 2009 Giant TCR and a 2010 Pinarello Dogma. I build my old bikes parts over for now and it weighs the same as my Giant did, so its not lighter. No doubt Contador will be out climbing the rest of the pack on it in TDF. Weird that Saxobank are not riding them in 2010, but then again they ride who ever pays them the most MONEY to ride there brand I would think? The bike looks nice with white bar tape and saddle. Not sure what cages to use yet, I have white on for now, i my go black or even blue when SPECIALIZED bring them in. I am waiting for my new campag wheels + 11spd Chorus groupset with white pedals. HOLDING thumbs they arrive by this week end. Did not make sence going for S/Record with a R7000 vs 201 grams. If a fun rider like me in "PPA G" can feel the difference how much more will a PRO ??? hey Stringbean, the CX does not have carbon rails, the saddle seems to slide as far as possible to the front of the clamp till it narrows.

I have a 2010 Specialized SL3 Sworks Tarmac, what an awesome frame too ride. The only problem is the seat keeps tilting up in front. I have a Fizik Arione CX. The bike shop torqued it the correct limits. Does anyone have an answer how to sort this out? Is anyone else battling with Sworks seatposts?The O2010-01-10 08:35:33

I would like to buy a Mavic R-Sys wheel set. Have Mavic sorted there problems out? If there is an upgraded wheelset, how would I know if i am buying the ugraded wheel set or not? Does any one reading this have a set? could you please comment on them. I am currently on the ksiruim SL Thanks

I cycled with him for a few km's before Bonnievale and after again, he was very friendly said he is here for 2-3 months in Campsbay, he was riding alone after BV, he was on his cell a few times makes cycling looks so easy. riding with no hands on the bar arms folded at times.

i saw a lot of guys cheating, the guy in question did cheat, his wife on route PICKED HIM UP, not with the team back up car. SHE WAS SHOCKED WHEN THEY STOPPED ON THE LAST HILL TO TAKE PICS AND HE TOOK HIS BIKE OFF :-( ROAD TO THE FINISH FRESH. He does not sell USED cars any more. Scarry thing he now sells SPORTS supplements. HOW DO YOU STOP IT? WHAT SHOULD YOU DO ABOUT IT? not sure what is worse lying about your $E% or cheating in sport :-(

No no no.. The new Giant TCR Advanced SL0 is the way to go That or a shiny new BH G5. THE 2010 SPECIALIZED SWORKS SL3 IS MUCH STIFFER AND LIGHTER THAN THE GIANT.

I ride the 2008 Dura Ace, have a new 2010 SWORKS SL3 frame ON ORDER, I looked at getting the new Dura Ace, the price diffrence +- R6000 and the weight diffrence of +- 150 grams of the 2009 D/A, told me NOPE, NOT WORTH IT. I told myself, but it looks so cool, yeah right, I then saw a bike with it fitted a few months ago and every black part had a nasty scratch on it with silver shining up from below. From a long term thing I think the plain silver 2008 Dura Ace will still look nice in 4-5 years time, so I am buying the old D/A

you could have picked up some thing earlier and only did the damage when you went over the RED mat, I have never heard or seen anyone have a flat becuase of the RED mat. Sorry pal, NOT PPA's fault. Are you new to cylcling + fun rides? Did you fix it and finish the ride? My seat post bolt broke 20min before the start of my group and managed to buy a new seatpost at Cyclefunatic @ 615AM and fitted in time to start with my group 20min later. THANKS TO DEON AT CYCELFUNATIC. I had a great ride thanks Durbanville High great SPIRIT all over. will ride next year again.

A few years back i bought a Brand new polar 725 form a guy in SA, after 7 months it had a problem, sent it up to Polar, they refused to repair it under warranty as it did no come in to SA via Polar SA. They have serial numbers on so they know. So i bought a new 725 from Willies ENgelbrecht cycles, 3 years later out of warranty, i send it up for battery change and receive a brand new 725X back as it had a soft ware problem, i did not even know about. I then bought a CS600 with power, Harold from Polar JHB came to my office in CT to sort out teathing problems. Polar SA service is GREAT dont try save you pay in the end.
