  6. Hi Sean its always on days when u have things to do that the boss has more important things for u to do. From the pics the cranks don't look too bad. I would say start with 1000grid waterpaper and work ur way to a smoother paper until u have reached the desired effect. once thats done wipe it down and use a drill. Put it in a vice and get a buffing or polishing head(the vice just keeps the drill stable for when u push the cranks onto the polishing head). Torkcraft is the brand that i have. Once thats done keep some hand cleaner ready, use autosol rub it onto the cranks or even on the buffing head and let her rip! iv noticed that the darker the polishing head becomes the better it polishes. feel free to whatsapp me if u having any problems. good luck and enjoy. Oh the hand cleaner is there because your hands will be covered in polish. A mask and goggles will also come in handy. Please if you are going to do the blades as well be careful because it can get caught and u can cut a deep hole in your hand neck arm or whatever body part it shoots at
  7. Howzit bud. How bad are the cranks? whatsapp me some pics on 0721268475 lets see if i can assist.
  8. Thanks Quinton I did it myself some time back and it was sitting while I gathered parts
  9. Thanks bud. I'll amend it, Iv attached some pics hopefully u can help. That's what I love about this thread! The infinite wisdom that we receive. Really appreciate your help
  10. So this took a while. Resprayed my Pinarello Montello because the paint was damaged a bit too much for my liking. The the help of fellow Hubber Bert who organized the decals for me and the many hours spent at woodstock cycle works with Dane Nils and Ralf who was trying to teach me how to straighten the front wheel this build has been every bit exciting to put together! Thanks for everyone who helped, its much appreciated. Polished up Campagnolo parts and I'm extremely happy with the outcome.
  11. Had some time on my hands this weekend so decided to polish up these bad boys. Now to strip the wheels to get the hubs and do that.
  12. Awesome pics guys! DJR i apologize i never knew that was you. Glad to see everyone enjoyed it. lol next year I'm making stickers with everyones hub name on it.
  13. Beautiful machine and a score at the price. IMHO i would just clean it up it really does look in bad shape at all and the fact that it has a complete 600 groupset is an absolute score. well done. hoping you will enjoy many sweet rides on it.
