  1. You could also switch to resin pads, assuming you're running metal at the moment. Resin Ups: is quieter, stops sharper, less rotor wear Downs: doesn't last as long (a single muddy ride can finish them) Metal Ups: Lasts longer Downs: Can be noisy, especially when wet, slightly less stopping power, more rotor wear
  2. Catatonic_Joe - 8am for 55km, 8:30 for 25km. Apparently will be line entries Jules there, heard it from a CHOC cow last night
  3. Hi, would like to confirm that registration will be available there tomorrow morning for guys that missed the online window..
  4. I just noticed something in the 45km results that I haven't seen before. 2 of the top 20 finishers were born this millennium. 2 more years until "they" start creeping into the marathons.
  5. http://www.jetlineactionphoto.com/find_photos.php They're still being loaded though, so give them a day or 3.
  6. Can get full finger Fox gloves for R310 - R380. Don't have stock at the moment, getting in 3 weeks though....
  7. Know a few guys often do an evening Spruit ride out that side on Wednesdays, usually from Fratellis at around 6, though not sure how regular it is.
  8. You could follow the freedom trail, and do Pietermaritzburg to Cape Town. The route is steeped in history. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Trail_%28South_Africa%29 http://www.freedomchallenge.org.za/index.php#about-fc http://www.southafrica.info/travel/adventure/freedom-trail.htm#.VSzrCeSenXY
  9. A noble response would be to contribute profits towards those affected by the fire. id be more than happy to ride for a cause like that.
  10. Well watch entries go on sale for a massive discount! Gonna sell like wildfire
  11. Try on a pair of Scott Trail MTB shoes if you can before you buy. Super comfy and durable.
  12. Oh right, used it as a circumference measurement, not diameter. Thanks for picking that up. The difference in clearance is actually just under 20mm between the 2 wheel sizes.
