Bought the AL 1 a week ago. the bike is an absolute machine. Climbs really well and eats up the singletracks on descent. previous bike was a scott spark 950, which wasnt too bad...but for the price range, the silverback is streets ahead. would recommend the bike to anyone.
I think new bikes have become more affordable. i would personally rather spend my money on a new bike with mid range components than a 2015 model high end bike.plus, i get a warranty.
