  4. Hmmm, not so sure . . will need more races before keeping up with the guys in front. Btw have you seen how strong the ladies were? Shame for the young one who dropped the chain almost at the end of the race.
  5. LOL . . I was freaking out because I had the impression of having a flat and I just wanted to arrive at the finish line.
  6. You just made me realize that I didn't eat anything during the race. So it might have been one of the reason. It was also the first time for me racing in B-C and the pace was for sure not what I'm used to.
  7. Sharing a video of the race
  8. Does any of you have a course of the race? Is it the same one as the last CycloSportif? And by the way anyone going from Sea Point?
  9. Where can I get the GPX file of the current course?
  10. Here a video of the entire race, I started in D.
  11. Hahahah you know what funny? I realized that I was on Visserhoek only towards the end. It looked completely different from the 99er,hard yes but for sure shorter. For once I wasn't looking at my Garmin and the only think I had in mind it was not to be dropped. I'm glad that the guys in front didn't push the hammer and waited for the group the reach then. 15. Thanks a lot Do you keep on the gps and keep connected the Ant+ sensors? Or do you just keep the gps on and then merge the file of the ride? I'm trying to figure out if the Ant+ and gps are a deal breaker, otherwise I could look into different action camera, such as a older go pro with a battery pack and get up to 8 hours. Like this Wasabi Power Extended Battery for GoPro HERO https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014X39VGI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_R-vMybRNN5WWY What are your thoughts? If the battery of the garmin virb elite with gps on won't last 3 hours I'm not sure it's worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Guys anyone going from Sea Point / Clifton ?
  17. I won't use it everyday, just for some races (maybe) and some long rides in scenic places. I been to some cool places and I actually regret not having videos :-(
  18. How long does the battery last with all the sensors connected? Gps and ANT +. Would this bike mount work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EUVE866/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ANIV0GLNTKUH8
  19. Hello everyone I'd like to buy an action camera to record some of the rides and races. I was thinking about the Garmin Virb Elite (the old one) https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Virb-Elite-Action-Camera/dp/B00EOHUVTU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1486372111&sr=8-3&keywords=garmin+virb+elite I know it's a bit bulky and heavy but I like the fact that the battery last for 3 hours and it has GPS and ANT+ The other options are Stealth 2 Sports Action Camera https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MCWWL0G/ref=s9_acsd_al_bw_c_x_1_w Ion 1011L Air Pro Lite Wi-Fi Camera https://www.amazon.com/Ion-1011L-Lite-Wi-Fi-Camera/dp/B00FZ3JTGI/ref=sr_1_23?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1486371785&sr=1-23&keywords=action+camera what do you think about it?should I consider some different action camera?
  20. Thanks for the suggestion. I think the training part is fine and I already have a Coach.
  21. Well for the last 3 months let's say I had an average of 800 tss and 16-17 hours cycling. One month ago I started some strength session at the gym and I'm feeling my legs really sore sometimes so I was thinking to help myself with some supplements.
  22. Last week 836 with 16 hours of training. This week so far Tss 316 and 10 hours of training.
  23. I wasn't aware of the fact that Wattbikes can measure L:R balance. I have a Power2max PM and for some reason, since I switched bike my L:R balance it's different then what it was used to be. That's kind of bothering me and I was actually thinking to buy the Garmin Vector to measure the L:R balance properly. Well I guess I'm going to find a Wattkibe and save this money
