Hello everyone, I just started biking and I'm new to the forum.10 days ago I bought a Scoot speedster 20 and got the basic pedals with it. I would like to buy new pedals and road shoes to improve my riding. Been reading online and so far found some good reviews about the Shimano SH-R088 Road shoes and Shimano PD-5800 Carbon SL Pedals,the pedals I could buy it at the closest store where I live (Green Point) but I can't find anywhere the road shoes. If I would buy these shoes and pedals I would spend about 3000 R and that would be a good price. I ride 50 to 60 Km at time and go out 4 times at week for now. Seeing that I'm very new and don't really know much about it I would appreciate if you could suggest me some good pedals and road shoes,my budget would be 3000 R or a bit more. I would need to buy them on a store located in Cape Town. Thanks a lot for your help.
