I stay close to Melrose so I road in and got a lift home with my brother.

I did the 40Km this year but I normally do the full race. I haven been riding for 2 years but with the 40Km option I was still able to at least have a good time and not sit miserably for many long hard hours. I was able to have a nice easy ride, raise money for my charity and get some motivation to get riding again. With out the 40Km i would not have ridden. There were a few other rides who were saying similar things. I think its going to be VERY popular next year.

Hey all, This was my first time riding 94.7 properly, I have a history of mechanicals and sickness with this ride. I was shocked at the complete lack of bunches. I caught one bunch by Glenhove which disappeared at the Killarny bends water stop. I tried so hard to form bunches, told guys to jump on my wheel etc but know one seemed interested. I never had the earliest starting time but from Q i would have expected some team work. It was a TT all the way. Is this normal for the 94.7? Ive done at least 10 races over my short riding time and done alot of club rides and cant understand this? Anyways, the walk to the start and the gravel and sand at the start sucks but the organisation was brilliant. As for the router, after an 80km TT the last 10kms suck but are very rewarding. Is it my favorite race, no, but will I be back next year, damb straight, hopefully earlier, faster and with some bunches

Thanks, im trying to decide if its worth the money to reseed. I only started riding again 2 months ago so I had a bad seeding for this event, my seeding is improving with each race so now I have to decide if its worth the R200. It all depends on how much earlier I will start. Thanks though

Often the cyclingevents page seeding adds penalties to my index but when I log into it via ppa i get the correct index. Must be a system bug

My brother and i still have not received our seeding/race numbers for the full distance. Anyone else having the same issue. Ive emailed the office but havent gotten a response yet. They not answering the phones either. My both entered on time, very strange?

Lol Joy I have emailed them, but then did they mess his up or mine My index is 73.90 and im Starting at 8:04 with Y. Could that be correct? Anyone else with a similar index?

Hey guys, Im confused by my seeding, I have a lower seeding then my brother but I am starting 45 minutes later then him??? Does age make a different to where the #CC places you or does the seeding index already take that into account. he is 31 and Im 28. Im really confused by it?
