It is the 3,4, and 5 hour rides on my own through winter with the i-pod and a few layers of warm clothing.

I have a single speed hardtail and a 2x9 geared Ellsworth Truth. 2x9 is more than enough and 1x1 makes you super strong!

I have both, but my HT is a 29er. A 29" HT is a softer ride than a 26" HT. The HT is fun every now and then but full suss is definitely the way to go. Check on the international circuit how many guys are starting to run FS (why not when they weigh 9-odd kgs?)

I stock frames from Ellsworth, Ibis, Niner, Titus and complete bikes from Cannondale and Merida. I have built up demo bikes for Ellsworth, Titus, and Niner and am just waiting for the Ibis parts kit for that demo to be built up. The parts kit is direct from Ibis themselves; it's got a RS Revelation, SRAM X9, Avid Elixir's, Crossride wheelset, Nevegal DTC tires. Pretty much a std build kit from Ibis for their demo bikes.

It's a demo bike that hasn't been ridden yet so why would i want to sell it? UPS shipped the parts kit to spain in error so im hoping later this week.

The Silver-spaceman Ibis Mojo frame has just been delivered. We will have it built up in 2 weeks time (parts kit 2 weeks away) as a demo bike.

It is a low rise bar. I would have preferred a high rise bar but there's no stock in the country at the moment so i had to make due for now.

King hubs would add an extra R5500 to the retail price tag pushing the bike up to R62K. Got to be rational as i need to sell this bike eventually. Ran with Hope hubs as I've put a Hope headset and Hope brakes onto the bike.

Because my other bike is a single speed and i feel like i'm getting nowhere slowly with gears. Running a 36T blade on the Motolite and a 11-34 cassette on the back so have gears enough for the ups and downs.

It's running a Duo up front.

Here's some pics of a Titus Motolite and an Ellsworth Epiphany that we've just finished building up. The Motolite weighs in at 11.5kg's for 130mm of travel and the Epiphany is 12.00kg's.
