I'm not so sure about the being wiser part.... Anybody wanting to lay charges of allegations has a right to do so and the defendant, likewise has the right to defend. But the stories in the media always lean on the accused, while the accuser wallows in the **** that is being stirred on their behalf. I am currently going through a court process where allegations have been made that are absolutely ludicrous. The hard evidence proves this. So, there's very little to be had for being wiser. The proceedings run you through the mill until proven otherwise. In the meantime, the media has a feeding frenzy. Benjamin Mendy of Man City is a recent case in point.

Acosta looks to be flaming hot. No wonder KTM pulled out all the stops to get him a seat. Although, he has had more time on the bike this preseason the the KTM guys. So it's going to be interesting to see they guys arriving yesterday can recover and gets to grips with the new bike before racing begins.

ABSOLUTELY! That's why the media should never be iallkwed to report on allegations. Allegations that are drawn out in the media, sud-judice are ridiculous in that they villify the accused without any substantive evidence. Take this case as an example, the allegations are being investigated. So why can't the media be prevented from reporting until there's an outcome... simple.

I'm always wary of stories such as this, because it tends to turn into a media frenzy without much credibility. Although, since there's no smoke without fire, it's also true that fires are started for too easily. My view: Let Christian Horner and Red Bull sort out their private matters, in private. The media can have their opportunity after the fact, when there is substantive evidence.

I listened to commentary of the Spurs vs Brentford game last night, while burning the midnight candle. Real squeaky-bum match as can be expected of Spurs. But those 3 goals in 8 minutes at the start of the 2nd half were stupendous! As can be expected of Spurs... 2 errors from the defence let Brenford get on the scoreboard on both occasions... As can be expected of Spurs. Lol, just as well the ol' ticker is still in reasonably good condition.

I only watched highlights of the game. Shitty definitely had the better of the game. Although, I had to admit that IMO the goal not have stood. Diaz backing into the keeper should have been blown for a foul. However, it is what it it is. I'm glad for the new boys and those returning from injury to ha e had this game time. I hope it stands them in good stead for the push till the end of season. It looks like a good side being put together under Ange, so may next year.... hhhhhmmmm, haven't I said that before.... lol

I've not been on the bets for a while myself. I kinda like the idea of live betting, it gives options. Mr Hill actually likes having you. You give hope to gamblers on their behalf - win win. And they don't pay for the marketing... hahahaaaa The gambling industry around the world is massive! Remember that with globalisation and live broadcast and feeds, information travel is instantaneous. So generally the bookies follow other bookies in a network, just as Fabrizio Romana is followed by journos and other Web content creators, for feeds on transfer news. Except, the bookies follow live feeds for changes in trend.... Voilà

Remember that Brentford need to keep his stake high considering ge is being scouted and they need him to dig that out of the relegation battle. I'm not his lengthy ban can be justified when compared with some who have gone before him. This is not a justification, it's merely my POV.

Bafana Bafana are on holiday so it's always a good time for anybody to play them. They couldn't even score a penalty against Mali... Now now... Rovers will be buzzing, if they have managed to crawl out the pubs and recover....

Surely West Ham are better than that! Tunisia losing to Namibia is a lot more shocking. Tunisia (28th), Namibia (115th) according to latest FIFA Ranking. Funny ol' game this....

I also read earlier that Newcastle would be an option. Didn't know the bookies were onto it already, lol His sacking at Spurs had more to do with Senior Management realising his toxicity. I think Daniel Levy felt it was worth losing the cup final rather than put up with his demands. Maybe not ideal timing, but when is a good time... And now Roma sacking him after a match where his was once again banned from the touchline says all about his character recently.

"We would like to thank José on behalf of all of us at Roma for his passion and efforts since his arrival at the club," said owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin. "We will always have great memories of his tenure at Roma, but we believe that an immediate change is in the best interests of the club. We wish Jose and his assistants all the best in their future endeavours."

Was disappointed that I missed the game's this weekend, while being out camping. Although, I usually make sure that I have access to games. So had to rely on LiveScore feeds. Not a great result for Spurs, but also not a poor result. Timo Werner get an assist debut! 👌🏽

I disagree. Although I don't watch Chelsea, I'm loving their performances and results. It helps that they are far from Top 4 contention. They get Mudryk for 70-odd million, we get Timi Werner for 15-odd million. Everybody wins.... Potch must stay!!!

Did anybody catch on fire at Chelsea under Lampard.... 🤔 Then again, the loan fee and terms are probably worth the risk. Funny thing stats.... His goal involvement stats at Chaelsea are on a par with Bukhayo Saka at Arsenal... Now how does that sound....! Okay, so my hope is that he scores at the same rate AND he finishes off half the sitters he missed at Chelsea. That'll give them the blues....

Your mate at Plymouth will be keeping an eye on Ashley Phillips. Loan deal confirmed today. I guess it means Spurs will be signing a Central Defender imminently. And Timo Werner tonight. COYS
