I never believed Frank would be capable, especially since it was Spurs he was being touted for. I also feel Frank didn't put in place a credible coaching team. Spurs' biggest problems seem to be in the boardrooms! I feel sorry for any coach, no matter his CV.

Met a few that I felt similarly about... but that was then!

Many believed Ange was a fool, and Thomas was being touted as the Messiah.... well... I, on the other hand didn't think there was a problem in Ange letting the league slip while giving everything for the Europa League.... It was a phase, and big decisions had to be made. I still believe Ange made the right call. The early season results weren't great, but the injuries to key players seriously hampered performances. Thomas Frank is faced with similar injuries though. Let's see if he can get Spurs to finish higher than 17th... and which Cup he can win!

I can't say Spusr have unlimited resources, albeit bigger corporate structure... But Frank has to start playing for results.

The only thing that surprises me, is that it came so soon. I wasnt in favour of Frank purely because I didnt believe he had a CV to match the job profile and sometimes high expectations of the Spurs fanbase I still would like to see hime succeed though....

It makes a refreshing change to be leading a game against arguably the best team this season. Out the window went my hope they would still be recovering from the World Club Champs, lol... I was very impressed to see him put out a 3-5-2 setup - it's obviously a better formation given the resources available. Great game from Spurs, but for lack of squad depth, and possibly fitness. Goos signs are there. COYS 🐓

He did have shares, or still does, in Aston Martin as far as I recall. So good call it seems.

There was also the injury crisis he had to navigate. Makes no sense expecting a workforce made up of kids and newbies to go out and do battle in the EPL. Oh well, the turnstiles work again. I just hope it's not going to be Frank.

Can't say I'm not disappointed to see Ange Postecoglou leave. I still believe he deserved a better opportunity. But the media and fans in England have real leverage. I wouldn't have a problem if they were at least sensible.

I agree that Liverpool should have sold him while they had the chance. Players are only obligated to a club for the period they are contracted. So if his agents were negotiating, then a move was on the cards and the club missed out on selling the player... tough cookies! It's a pity that bums on seats is becoming less and less of a priority. I fear the americanisation of the beautiful game is increasing the commercial priorities, and then I wonder if there will still be a place for real, authentic fans.

True story.... There were also 5 clubs playing for 3 Champoins League places on the final day of the season. I'm not sure that has happened before.

I gave up midway through the season.... It seemed like I was donating!!! 🤔
