Hi Everyone, I am in a bit of a pinch as our group is riding on Sunday but I replaced my BB today. While assembling the cranks (Cannondale One) I snapped the non-drive side crankbolt (It rated for 40nm but it snapped way before). Does anyone know where in Cape Town I can find a set of bolts before Sunday. The C'Dale part no. is KP251 Thanks, BS (No not that) LOL

Hi, Can anyone suggest a BB to convert a Scalpel Si to accept 24mm Shimano cranks. One that screws the left and right ups together rather that presses into the frame. There is loads for 73mm BB shells but none for 83mm as far as I can see. Some guys suggested the Wheels Mfg 386Evo to Shimano models. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

Loving my trance. Took her for her first ride today and my first ride as well. Went to Meerendal and I literally died many times on the Dorstberg climb . The singletrack and switchback were epic and I will be back!

Hi everyone, So I decided to take up mountain biking after a long absence from cycling in general. During my younger days I did some BMX racing during the early ninties and later progressed to road cycling. I haven't cycled in more than 10years now but my brother got me interested again since he took up moutain biking. The first thing I did was to scout through the forum and was amazed how much cycling in generel has changed. I got alot to catch up to it seems and there is a ton of bike manufactures in the MTB space not to mention parts and accessories. I am generally interested in XC and enduro races for now as this seems to be the most popular. I have no interest in racing competitively as I am doing this for the enjoyment but it seems when upgrade fever hits then the bank balance takes quite a hit!!! As yet I dont have a MTB as yet but I am lurking through the classified section of the forum for something appropriate and cost effective (read R10000 max). I am here to learn and looking forward to all the advice and experience of the more seasoned guys on the forum. So that's me. BattleScar
