I got my juicy 5 installed and working 100%. Very proud of myself becuase it is the first time that i am doing something like this... took me a while to figure out how to get the piston to move back but then i got the hang of it

I have put up some new brakes and gear shifters. Not sure the model of the shifters but the look like oldish alivio gears. (if i am correct) I had these things on https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=70702&PID=1025154#1025154 I then upgraded to juicy 5 which resulted in that i needed new shifters so i got shimano shifters from someone. But they do not have the model on and is it only temporarily for a month or 3. But my question now is how do you exactly adjust the gears so that the chain does not touch the front derailer when changing the rear gears. The rear gears looks almost fine - but sometimes it looks as if the chain runs over n bump before it chance to the other gear when i change it. (do not exactly know how to describe it). Please keep in mind that this is the first time that i am doing this .... any tips will do. mtbN00b2009-12-17 07:12:15

I Think it was about 6-7 months. The first time she really used it was at the bottom of a steep hill. She pedalled like a mofo to get to the top because she was afraid to stop and do a potential lie down. She was dead tired when she reached the top of the hill. It was the end of the ride. She has gotten way better since. She was second overall in her age group with the FPC series. so she rides better than you? Umm.. Ja well. Her times... Um... Less females... Aahm... I'm suppose you are right in a way... ag it is ok ... i know you just do it to score make her feel good and motivate her

just asked my LBS and they sell pedals with the cleats on one side for about R250 . is that rip off or ok? forgot to ask the model.
