  9. I'm working late, not by choice, and I must say this is one of the best threads that I have had the honour of reading . I think everyone or let me rather say anyone that wants to start a controversion thread should lie down so long and wait for the punches - THIS IS THE HUB - where legends are made

  11. Hi Guys, I have a Suntour XCM-V2 fork but the speedlock fell out (the udjuster thingy that makes it lock or unlock). So I went back on my route and found the blue part that reads speedlock, but now I think there is another part missing from the assembly because now it can't lock or unlock, it just stays unlocked where it fell out on the track. Please could you help - here is the exploded view of the fork, the part is No.14: http://www.srsuntour-cycling.com/customGates/scripts/binary.php?BinaryCodeID=1302&filename=exploded-view-SF9-XCM-V2-HLO-26.pdf Thanks a mil... Louis

  14. Hi Guys, What do you use, or how do you clean your chains? Do you have to break the chain to clean it properly? I clean my chain with a normal engine degreaser, and I scrub it with a medium brush, but I can't seem to clean everything out. 2 rides later, my chain, that was sparkling clean, is black with dirt/muck/old grease type crap again, and so is my casette. I don't ride offroad that often because of the rain and mud and I have to cycle in the early mornings, so it can't be dirt that is going in there, it looks like old grease that is black. How can I clean it properly and avoid to have to clean it after every 2nd or so ride? Thanks Silverbackman2010-05-06 06:16:02
  15. Centurion - Groenkloof my friend, GROENKLOOF ROCKS!!! As for a cycling club, why not Cycle Lab Centurion?
  16. Karsten Cycles - Montana
  17. Rudo, If you can save some cash, go for the Silverback Phoenix. Very good bike for the price, they go for around R5500. Please do yourself a favour and buy something nice from the start, even if your ass is burning to buy something NOW, dont!!!! Save your cash and get a decent bike like the phoenix with good components. Once you buy something cheap just for now, give it 6 months and you will want to upgrade the fork and the groupset and and and and this will set you back much more, believe me. The Phoenix is a very good bike, so rather just save and buy that, you wont be sorry. As for the XL and L problem, if you are 1.87m, then you will need an XL bike, your weight has nothing to do with the size of the bike, it's about your length. Go fit a bike at you local bike shop, and then see from there...
  18. I'm getting on my bike right NOW!!!!!
  19. Hi guys, I see that SRAM have some nice X.0 twist (grip) shifters at very decent prices. Why are they cheaper and are they any good? Thanks
  20. Howsit Hubbers, Is it possible to remove the decals from a suspension fork? If so, how the hell. It seems to be under the clear coat, or sprayed on top of the clear coat. I does not seem to be a simple sticker that can be peeled off? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
