Was way too hot to be riding today, so went nowhere. Thought I'd go for a night ride But at 10pm it was still 29 degrees and 90% humidity!

Here are a few sections of the Jungle Fever trail at the Garden Route Trail Park. As per the video description, I'm no pro and too old to be breaking any bones so I tend to go slow. This is meant to show off the trail, not the rider. Bike is a Giant Trance 2 2015. If you don't like the music, simply click the mute button! Been struggling to find some trails in Mossel Bay area lately and eventually found some nice jeep track type trails with the help of Google maps. Went exploring them today.

I have the same awesome bike but, damn, I wish I could fly like that! Not enough skills and too old to be breaking any bones...

Moordkuil river near Little Brak. No trails, only gravel road but managed a short distance alongside the river.

Yeah, we did the blue route, Crazy Creek, I think. Those berms are amazing, especially where it drops down after a berm right into the next one. Never ridden anything like it before, was crazy! And those downhill sections into the creeks... Wanted to do the orange trail as well but wore myself out on the pumptrack and had no woema left! Will have to go back next week...

So many trails, so little time GTRP has some awesome trails with scary downhill sections, scary at least for me with my very limited skills. If only I had the skills and fitness to really ride them without having to hold back on the downhill sections!

Awesome bike, I have the Trance 2 and love it more every day. Amazing trail bike and quite capable downhill and climbing. It came with a fixed post so opted for the Reverb Stealth. Can't imagine riding without a dropper post any more!

Beautiful to some, disgustingly ugly to others... Picked this 2004 (I think) Giant ATX 2.0 DH up for just about nothing and decided to fix it up a little. Complete strip, sandblast and satin silver respray, new Deore brakes, pivot bearings and a few other smalls. Not finished, just threw on some parts I had to make it rideable. Still needs decals, a chainring, new rims and a bunch of other stuff (there goes the budget!) Couldn't find a seal kit for the original Rockshox boxxer, so gave it a new Marzocchi bomber I had lying around. Let me know what you think!
