  1. I'm busy building up my swift Utravox RS1, I cannot believe the weight of bike so far. Cannot waite to go for a test ride this weekend. Agents are very helpfull
  2. Sorry coming into this so late - but do you have any road frames on special please?
  3. Contact Coolheat via your local LBS and beg them to send off your lever to the agents (Coolheat) to repair for you. These are the older 7800 as you stated, they may still have spares for you. I sent my newer LHS lever off to them and they repaired, although they wanted to send the spares to my local LBS for them to repair. Worth trying though
  4. My 2 cents worth, don't speak to any cyclist regarding Miway in the KZN Newcastle area. No one will ever insure with them after the interrogation we had to go through with one of our riders over a fork that broke during a ride. They are the worst insurers you will ever get to know. If I had not had a personal interview done with them regarding the ride and subsequent interrogation done!! Shocking is all I can say As they say to pay for what you get. Give Miway a miss please!!
  5. Many thanks, correct, Fox fork, will give your suggestion a try, regards.

  7. Hi, could someone advise please. Im a roadie, do a fair amount of MTB riding on the weekend and have a problem with my MTB on really steep loose gravel climbs, forced to jump off and push. firstly would like to know setup on a MTB, would this be the same as on my road bike, i.e. knee and BB setup and saddle hight the same. Secondly could my battling to stay in control of the bike, only really steep climbs be because of the setup of the bikes wheels, i.e. back is a 26 inch and front is a 29inch wheel. (I am forced right to front of saddle yet still cannot maintain balance/cadence). I have tried moving saddle forward but this does not really help. Final question, can I convert bike back to a 26 inch wheel in front, simply by changing front wheel, or would whole front setup need to be changed, shock etc? Thanks Derek
  8. This is a very commen problem, need to strip the hub down with allen keys and put slight oil on the nylon spacer. This gets dry causing this terrible sound regards Derek
  9. Hi, have you checked that your hanger is not bent, if this is the case, and I have many many when the bike has fallen over or when leant on, the hanger has bent and in a lot of cases has only affected the critical gears that you have mentioned. In your top gear i.e. 21 check the alignment of the jockey or take bike to bike shop as their is a special tool for checking frame alingment, hope this helps regards |Derek
