Yes, I've also been cycling for many years and its only common decency to greet your fellow warrior on the road. I greet every time, even if I don't get a reply, but if you carry on greeting usually , I found, in new areas I ride, you start a new trend and that's what its all about. Common guys at the end of the day, its our sport, lets be happy and enjoy the road and the company.

Funny enough I also, a few years back had the same problem with a stolen bike , with Sanlam being the insurer. They interviewed me twice and took 7 months to settle, eventually. I will never use them again as my insurer.

Hi fellow cyclists, I have recently moved up to Pretoria- Equestria area from KZN , and i'm looking for an early morning group to start riding with, either road or mtb , although road is my personal preference. use a extinguisher with co2 around the frame where seatpost is stuck , it freezes the area and seatpost comes out quite quickly

A word of warning:- Just be very, very careful with XTR pistons when pushing them back as they are ceramic and are easily damaged

I have ridden Gator's for a long time now, with no issues. Just be careful your brake blocks have not moved out of alignment with the rim. A buddy of mine blamed walls of Gator skins and went through a costly exercise of replacing 5 tyres before finding out a brake block had shifted and he was braking on the tyre wall causing a blow out!
