Did stage 3. on the 29er today, and was 2 minutes slower than last year, was it the bike, was it the legs, was it me belly or is just the lack of urgency that you only get on race day?

I say baggies brew! I did one run in me lycra last year trying to represent and totally bombed out on the first sharp corner - (forcing)!!! Got to the bottom, put on my baggies, road for the fun & actually had alot smoother runs.

Yip yip, things are looking good. Mark was out today working on Stage 2. Ripped up an old boardwalk & replaced it with an even faster, longer boardwalk, nice corner & even a bit of a drop off. Don't worry there is a chicken run aswell. There's a whole lot more shaved legged racing snakes this year. Hopefully my Sani fitness will get me through them peddly sections. What to ride???? 2012 Scott Spark 29er soft tail, or the old faithfull 2009 Santacruz Blur???

Well done everyone! We had a great day, 10 bands of awesome music & raised over R54000 (1350 Bibles) See ya again next year!!!

We are busy negotiating some land access. So........ on Day 2. instead of the rutted 4X4 track there is a possibility of an awesome switch back carved in the slope taking you straight into them brilliant bush tunnels. Will keep you posted!!
