  1. I just saw this morning that the DC results was taken from Racetec website. Why all this cloak & dagger? Why could there not just have been an official communication to state that there might possibly have been the following (whatever it might have been) transgression and that it is being investigated. And even more important this should have been personally communicated to AT team at the start. I can fully understand if AT must be pretty P!!sed off. To hear of a possible disqualification on a forum - and even worse - based on totally unsubstantiated rumors involving doping! Hard luck guys, you raced a very hard race and despite the mishap with the feeding - this is not deserved
  2. You must be joking or are living in a parallel universe with different time zones. The DC is 9 days away - so I hope you have good muscle memory. Or you will need to find the worlds fastest training program. Good luck
  3. First just work on the spelling & grammar Power will follow
  4. Riding Slow Group - Again! And with another new explanation. This is becoming a habit... MorewoodMad for Slow Group Captain
  5. I weight 75 kg on a bad day. My height is 186m. My body fat is 10%. You should eat more
  6. If you want to do city navigation than the Garmin maps (The GPS device is normally pre-loaded with the street maps of South Africa)is comprehensive, but if you want to go off the beaten track then get T4A in addition. You can pay for & download only the tiles you require from the T4A web site (instead of buying the whole CD) and toggle between the Maps options as required. For Mozambique, Botswana & Namibia you only need T4A.
Die man was 'n masjien. Great roete - volgende keer sal ek hopelik betyds wees en met 'n helmet, om nie weer uit te mis op Majik
  8. One of the most important things is your nutrition in the first half of the race. In a normal 80 ? 100k fun ride it is not a train smash if you forget to eat & drink regularly. You may battle over the last few kilometres and your ?sprint? to the line may be under average, but you will survive on your reserves. With the double century, what you put in on the first 100k, is going to have a big impact on your performance over the second half of the race. If you hit the wall at 150k it is too late and it is going to be a long struggle home. So remember to eat regularly from the first hour of the race and enjoy. It is a great event and very different thanks to the team camaraderie
