  1. Thanks Frosty, you would need a pretty early start time though tio do it unofficially
  2. Any idea as to the process if you want to do a double loop?
  3. Thanks BikeisLife - will give them a shout, appreciated
  4. Hi all Heading down to Pumula Beach Resort (near Hibberdene) end of the week and am keen on taking my mtb. I have done the usual Google and Hub search but info dates back to 2014. It would appear as though Rocky Bay trails is my best best as Virginia, Lake Eland and Clearwater are too far to travel for a ride (close on an hour either way). Does anyone know of any other trails within 30min drive or any mtb groups in the area! Thanks
  5. I was just about to start a post about Vittoria Barzo and it feeling sketchy upfront and then I saw this. My bike came with a Minion up front and Ardent on the back. When I replaced them recently I found Vittorias on special and decided to give them a go as have heard good things. Put the Mezcal on the back and seems to "roll" better than the Ardent. My issue is the the Barzo up front, it feels like I am continually going to wash out around corners and I find that if lifting the front wheel is it far less forgiving if you don't land flush. So I guess my question is - is a Barzo not a great option up front or have I just become used to 3 plus years of a Minion which is more forgiving perhaps?
  6. You are not going to beat Thule quality and you rightly pay a premium for that but if you are keen on foldable I saw this and at that price point it may be worth a punt https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/bike-racks/450830/bosal-foldable-2-bike-platform-rack
  7. Shouldn't I wouldn't imagine - particularly for such a short distance. I have have ridden the Suikerbossie loop and 94.7 with both fork and shock locked out with no noticeable issues. Will be interested to see what those with more technical know how have to say though
  8. How sad is it that (a) I can get arrested for brining the beer and (b) beer has greater value than a new saddle at present!
  9. Okay, just had a look at that is waaay beyond my skill set! Adam may take you up on that offer but I will first try the hot water suggestion and try bend the plastic per madmarc's suggestion
  10. Thanks Theo, will email link to my phone and watch on my cell. No youtube on work pc unfortunately
  11. I can't see a video! Perhaps work's firewalls or something of the like
  12. Thanks all, appreciate the input. @Theo, yeah that screw bolt is mainly for cosmetic purposes. as your second edit probably alludes to @Adam - just need to find a clamp! Might go and bug my neighbour.
  13. Congrats Wayne, great news for you and your family!
  14. That 's what I am thinking
  15. Long story short, hit a tree stump on some single track, fell and my saddle came off the rails! Is this fixable, I have tried to man handle the saddle back onto the rails but it is a no go. If I am to replace does anyone know where I could find a WTB Volt Race, I have been looking around and can only find Comp's online - unless they have changed their range since I purchased my one.
