I like the lock out on the Spark and use it much of the time. Also the Spark is good value for money. (defenatly better than the Anthem)

No thoughts of a Spark?

My brother also crashed today after someone stoped in front of him at a decent. Also have elbow and shoulder injuries, but hopefully not to long in hospital. Just realized again how important a good helmet is!

Great for a weekend run, but will not work for a afternoon ride. Perhaps the trails around town will still work better for a afternoon ride.

Actualy I the Merida was one of my options, but the parts for the fork is hard to find in SA. But the main reason was I personaly don't like the mix between SRAM and Shimano - I like the full XT of my Spark.

Don't forget about the Anatomic Bib. I've got the Race one and is real value for money! I've hear from other guys that you pay alot for some "brand" names like CS and FA.

I also bought a Spark 40 on advise from other hubers, and what a nice ride! I got mine with derialeur and shifters upgraded to XT and a few extras for R19 500.

The GHOST have a Fox float. Maybe I will go to my LBS on Saturday to have a chat. Maybe a . . . Spark?!

Thanks guys! I will take another look at some other options. What I don't like is some bikes that have SRAM Shimano mixed up. What is your opinion about a GHOST RT Actinum 7500?

I think the new Mercury 1 is the best spect in it's class. It has a complete XT 30 speed groupo and weight +- 12.5 kg.

What is the best prize on the Mercury 1?

Hopefully it will not be to long before I trade my Scalpel in for a new Mercury 1!
