Agreed.... education starts at home..... but if the 'home' is not educated - how can it progress? Understand not attack no problem... i personally would rather stay and fight. but lets be honest - things seem to be getting way out of control at the moment. If people thought things were bad 10 years ago and uprooted themselves ??? today seems like there alot of more agendas coming to the forefront! personally - never followed ET and AWB - but their actions and those of say Bra Dilemma Malema affect us all. Hey Chubba....... i had exactly the same view point as you and wiould never have left... Now i see other wise. Ridicule me if anyone wishes but i want a future - a future for my wife and kids i hope to have and theirs and so forth - being brought up by a society which is full of barbaric individuals i don't think is worth it anymore. I may just leave now. I can take the heat - but why should my family be put through it, all the brutal attacks, the xenophobic attacks (WHICH SHOULD ACTUALLY BE CALLED ETHNIC CLEANSING SHOULD YOU READ THE DEFINITIONS) It's not about me - it's about my family. Things will take time to change - no doubt - but into what?? 16 years, 3 trillion spent and schools don't have tables, pass rates are lower and lower while 80% of that goes to teacher salaries? Seriously - i blame education for most of whats wrong with this country at the moment - if people were educated right - i doubt we would have as many problems as we do now. Education leads to understanding and jobs. Understanding that the person next to you is the same as you and i - has equal rights and has is no better than you or i and a life is a life. If we improve now - it will take at least another 12 - 15 years for things to get better. My god....i'm rambling here..... i think education is a one of the roots of the cause. Period. The past is the past - and people can't get past that. End of the day - I'm afraid i'm becoming the person i never wished to be. South Africa is undoubtebly the most spectacular country to visit or live in....

This is how I feel as well. Other countries have their problems but you don't have to run the gauntlet everytime you leave your front door and live behind electric fences and high walls etc. for fear of your own life. On the program I mentioned earlier the one guy says he loves crime and will continue doing it. He will even stuff you into your own oven to get money out of you! As mentioned earlier..... barbaric. Unfortunatly more barbaric people on the African continent than any other.

Mmmmm... the world is not normal...... far from it. Anywhere you go you will find things wrong but issues are becoming more and more.... and being seen as what they are. Underlying agandas are becoming more and more understood as the years go on. I wiould happily trade my passport for a better South Africa. If i am able to open up a company in the UK and sponsor guys to come over and build a slightly better future - no problem. I would do it in a heartbeat! i am one of those luckily enough to have a UK passport - and i am one of those who would fight for the country if asked to. That country being SA!

Never thought i'd be saying this - considering moving for fear of my family than anything else whereby my past attempt at leaving was for a brighter future in my industry - now..... i'm renewing my UK passport. I have never been a sceptic - but now...... not so sure anymore.

Guys lets just be honest..... racial tensions are high - more than likely will subside and then will lift it's ugly head again out of the shadows. This attack on this poor father due to his background of 'origin' is pathetic - it has happened before and will happen again. It is how it is dealt with that counts - and i'm afraid to say - is never dealt with in the right manner but saying that - what is the right way to deal with it? With all thats going on - and i absolutely love this country - how long will this country last? i hope it does - i truly hope so - cause i would love to bring my children up in this country.

God..... have some stories similar to that............ to be honest - tired of being a white c^#t , pu$$ etc......... My wife somehow controls me going back and pummeling them proper. Hardly anyone knows how a 4 way stop works or a two lane roundabout.... I'm tired guys - really tired of being treated like i am part of the problem - even though i was ten when apartheid ended.
