  1. The way i see it........ was going to comment..... nah....... not going to anymore. Lets just hope all is good during the world cup and things get done afterwards.
  2. Since this topic was started with a question - i would like to ask one..... if i may.... Do guys in south africa wear overshoes?
  3. Well said M Unfortunately tolerance has gone out the window in this day and age - In all walks of of life. When i drive - i'm tolerant of cyclists, and cyclists should be the same towards drivers. Yesterday, in fact - a group of guys were cycling towards and in the vicinity of the Windsor golf course and on the stretch of road towards the new soccer stadium while my wife was driving. Some guys stayed within the designated cycle lane, some peeled off towards blue lagoon while other's peeled off to go up towards Goble road - turning directly across two lanes of traffic without any indication of turning. Now - the way i see it - cyclists need to be tolerant and keep to their side of the road/lane and the same goes for drivers. OH - AND DRIVERS - IT IS A DESIGNATED CYCLE LANE FOR A REASON. Can't we all just get along???? Don't get me started about traffic circles!
  4. Kuk colour... design does look cool though... nevertheless.. not gonna wear something that makes me look i sweat supermoo'.... Def a kick in the arse!

  7. yeah im peed off at the crime situation. My wife is FREAKING PARANOID. Like a damn highly strung moose. Then again - she does work in westville, Jan Hoffmeyer road and apparently in broad daylight - cars are getting stolen.... RIGHT IN THEIR PARKING LOT at Chritina Martin. Seems like Westville is riddled. I think the bm you talking about is the E46 before the facelift. Strap a small pistol to your frame Ridiculous we have to go to these lengths
  8. At least you're ok boet. Too bad the oke in the bakkie couldn't run him down. What BMW was it? Box shape, Dolphin shape? Dark Blue? Maybe other okes have seen the same vehicle scoping aroung the hood
  9. ANyway... whatever it is......Maybe she like his chin?
  10. Perhaps she has a nice personality. personality is key
  11. he definatley could have found better..... but she has cracker b**bs
  12. MMmmmm... to be honest - wait till next year when HOPEFULLY all goes well and there is a new kid on the block in terms of cycling and paddling apparel. Think Assoss, Think Rapha without stinging sensation. Local is better! Think style - think quality - think LIFEstyle. Local perfomance products with international quality - made FOR the cyclist etc.... Understated branding - not a huge ***** across the chest or back. Clean cut lines and awesome fabrics. Think about putting on an after ride jacket and looking like a million bucks in the coffee shop with your mates. AAarrgh. Can't wait. Sounding good? Fingers crossed boys and girls
  13. ??? Looks like he just dropped a dart or sharted.
  14. IF THIS DOES NOT TOUCH YOUR HEART - THEN YOU DONT HAVE ONE! AN INCREDIBLE STORY OF LUCK AND INSPIRATION CAN YOU BELIVE IT?? THIS OKE WINS $181 MILLION IN THE LOTTERY LAST WEEK WEDNESDAY AND TYHEN FINDS HIS TRUE LOVE JUST ONLY 2 DAYS LATER. Talk about LUCK!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! DRIVE AND RIDE SAFE!!!Cranck2009-12-14 01:01:18
  15. I always wanted to join the police / army - Aussie police / british army at that. Basic fact is, the okes at the stations dont give a rats backside for anyone. All it is, is a means of putting food on the table and taking advantage... there is no pride anymore for these idiots. This year - metro police were hiring 'staff' for available jobs...... THOUSANDS TURNED UP FOR IT. telling me they want to serve and protect????
  16. That is bullpoo.... look, i know quite a few okes in the force including my boet who was in the service for just over 10 years (now searching for drugs and stowaways - FRUITLOOP - maybe you should give him a a shout) not all cops are animals but a hell of a lot are... Situations like this pi$$ the hell out of me - does anyone know where this situation exists? Been saying this for quite some time now - time is coming when general public are going to take matters into there own hands - already happens in quite a few townships - you steal, rape whatever - you pay the price. My suggestion is fight violnce WITH violence - but why the hell should we be the ones taking control of situation when we have a problem. Jees im going on here..... we hired personal 24hr security guards in our area - within 2 years - our problems went from 52 a year (1 a week) to only something like 1 every 2 months. Those who were caught - were buggered up to say the least (imagine 20 angry residents and 1x Dog unit nest door neighbour with a retired dog - and then handed them over to the cops... they said virtually nothing. Some okes are gonna say - you can't fight violence with violence - it'll only escalate etc BUT it worked in our case - imagine living in Durban with your back door open and NOT in a gated community but living in Berea / Morningside area......
  17. damn....... wish i saw it
  18. holy pooh! When did this happen?
  19. i think its female...... j udging bout the write up (nest and stuff) Ja, looks like it has been shot a few times. .... god damn wildlife okes. what next, shooting a loose hippo?
  20. i think i can see its teeth
  21. This last weekend saw a croc situated in the Umgeni River,Durban, KZN. Nervous passers by presumed that the croc may have been protecting a nest of eggs which would be the first situation of it's kind in the lower umgeni. Ezemvelo KZN wildlife were shocked when confronted with the situation. Lanies by LUGS were in shock and awe and were running trying to get there tackle boxes and fish it out..... god knows why - prob croc curry???? 22. Some colours are definately cool and will stay with the sport... i enjoy yellow as in TDF yellow - great colour and as you said... visible. Big prints from the label not so great. You can be subtle yet effective if done properly. That white with red dot is also cool Team Jerseys - exactly that. "team". Wear it with pride. doesn't mean it can't look awesome at the same time.
  23. Different styles for different folks i suppose There is no doubt that there certain colours okes will wear and not wear. The Bright greens and lumo orange i thihnk i shall stay away from. This is more about the product and style. Afterall... cycling is not just a sport but a lifestyle, just like many sports with sports apparel ie: paddling and with and lifestyle comes clothing as it determines who you are. Plain and simple - well, that my view. I dont think enough 'range' is out there that caters for it. JEEP have the outdoor lifestyle in check...... Nice product for what you get... i know as the guy i work for manufactures a lot of their clothing!!! The Rapha range is H O T! and quality comes with it and versatile. Markups a bit tough on the wallet. There is no reason why we cannot produce international quality at decent rates. And that err's me to no end......
  24. actually.............. that RAPHA gear is I N S A N E
