Guys... it's simple. yes it will hurt with that ball travelling at 300fps but you'll get over it. Well, that's my marker. The smaller pistol ones woth the co2 canisters still shoot hard. Ever heard of pepper balls? NOW - Rig a setup on your bike that can hold the pistol. Fill with pepper balls and if someone shoots you or drives like a &^%, shoot the inside of the windscreen and watch the hilariousness that will ensue. Make sure there are no cars / pedestrians / cyclists around. God i've wanted to do that to Taxi's! reminds me of Leon Schuster and the snake in luggage bag on side of road incidents. But obviously everyone here is mature enough not to do it.... but it would be funny.

I think quite a few of the guys will have different arguments when it comes to what the setup regarding fluid carrying is. Some will say that centre of gravity on the bike is put out and you are becoming more 'top heavy' etc as a result of carrying the camelbak. Other will not like having it on their back whilst racing and don't want to feel 'restricted.' All valid points but it is what you feel comfortable doing. If it fits and you're comfortable - wear it. It's all about trying to make yourself as comfortable and competitive as possible. Find the setup that suits you.... and enjoy the ride.

Ratty... there will be tckets available. As of 1st December - only 600 000 had been sold/reserved and there is talk of being able to buy over the counter. I reckon with the lack of sales - prices will also come down towards the fixtures themselves. i do however see your issue with trying to bookl now for the visotors you will be hosting.
