I know this is a silly question, but can I do the cycle tour on my mtb? I know everybody these days have road bikes, but I simply can't afford another bike. I also realise the race will be much harder on my mtb, but I have entered and I am keen. Any advise?

Is it just a road race, or is it fine on a mtb?

Are there any good trails on the other side of the mountain, towards Villiersdorp?

Hi. I am currently in Villiersdorp and need someone to help me replace a part of my gear setup (I don't know what it is called. It is the part that you exchange gears with your right thumb). Is there anyone in this area that could maybe help? Regards Judith
