  13. Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung got off to a great start in the 34th International Bayern Rundfahrt (May 22-26 / UCI 2.HC), with a fourth place finish for Gerald Ciolek. After 193.1 kilometers from Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm to Mühldorf am Inn, the 26-year old just missed out on the podium as the win went to Alex Rasmussen of Garmin-Sharp, who also took the overall lead in the race.
