    Looking for any DH mtb specific tracks trails or courses in or around haenertsburg with rock gardens, drops , berms and jumps ( like a usual DH mtb trail). I have a DH bike and so I’m looking for a good challenging trail that is flowy but also technical and fast. If anybody knows of any trails or properties or plots that have such trails ( that I could contact ) pls let me know

    Good Morning Hubbers! I have a pair of Greg Minnaar Hellcat Pro Clipless shoes. (Those pimp white ones) I am getting a pair of Flat Pedals delivered in this week, and want to try and make the switch and see how I manage without being planted to the bike permanently. Kzn Gravity includes the following disciplines: Enduro, Gravity and Downhill. -- ORIGINAL: Yesterday marked the first KZN Gravity committee meeting. Anyone and everyone was welcome at Giba Gorge to discuss what 2018 meant for all disciplines that fall under the Gravity banner. The first big subject discussed: KZN MTB will no longer be supporting any Gravity style races at all. That's the bad news. KZN MTB have stated that they will be focusing on XC style as well as Gravel races. The good news? Well, there might be some, but it's going to be a very tough year for Downhill and enduro events held in KZN. KZN MTB put some funds aside for all Gravity based racing and gave it to some people to manage as a budget. So with that a new group has emerged: KZN Gravity. Anyone want to know more?

    Hi Gents and gals! Just arrived to SA few days ago and was wondering about good locations to ride my DH bike. (apologies if there are more of similar posts, couldnt find any) Im rather new to SA in general but I've noticed that enduro & cross country is pretty big here. Im staying in Gauteng area which doesnt look like it has many locations that would fit my interest. Any info regarding good locations would be greatly appreciated, whether or not around Gauteng.     Hey guys So I'm going to Europe in May/June for a short trip and to do a bit of riding in Switzerland and Italy. And I was thinking of getting a bike while I was over there. Currently I race Enduro and Downhill, I'm not going for the podium, but I do aim to always improve my times and my overall position. For Enduro I ride a 26" Giant Trance 2012, it's pretty well kitted out... For Downhill I ride a Giant Glory 01, it's a 2011, fairly stock. I'm toying with the idea of selling both of these to buy a Canyon Spectral Al 6.0 Race... One of the reasons is that my trance doesn't seem to be able to cut it anymore, when I'm going really fast through bumpy stuff with the Revelation fork it just doesn't quite cut it. So I toyed with the idea of getting a Pike, but that's a 10grand fork on it's own. And i think it will be capable for downhill, cause most of the tracks in KZN aren't too gnarly, and I don't do the big jumps yet (that's the main reason). So it could possibly be faster for me in face I know a lot of people are going to say get the YT Capra, but the availability of that bike is an issue, I won't be able to get it in time. I think this Canyon Strive is definitely in the same bracket of bike... So what do you guys think about my plan? Any insight will be helpful...
