  1. Hi All , I've searched the sections but failed to hit on the subject of MTbike to e-bike conversion . If it has please post a redirect Link. So I 'have a Genius 2020 aluminium frame ...due to conflicting health issues it's getting difficult to get out on my regular Tokai Trails, up jeep track down singles. I see across the pond the guys are doing pretty decent conversions. Has anybody In SA "better still the Cape" sourced the conversion kit or necessary parts to do the conversion. I have seen locally we have Chilled Squirrel doing in house conversions. thanks Howard.
  2. So, after about 8 years off the bike I am back riding again. I'm trying to get fit for a couple of MTB marathon races but I miss the days of competing in DH events. Well, I am perhaps to old for that now but I do enjoy the technical riding. It seems I have a riding partner who is in the same boat as I am and we would like to get into the enduro scene. The question is..... will a 2013 scott genius710 be good enough for enduros? The fox 34 is very stiff and 160mm of travel should be enough? I took the bike for a spin and it felt very similar to the GT DHI(pre-fury) I had. It also feels a lot more capable than the GT Lobo I had which was sorry is the best bike I ever rode. I do have a budget constraint and that's why i'm looking at older bikes in good condition. Hopefully the guys in the enduro scene will be able to help me out
