  1. Greg van Avermaet (BMC Racing) won the 6th stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico by out sprinting Peter Sagan (Tinkoff) and Michal Kwiatkowski (Team Sky). Van Avermaet also took over the race leaders blue jersey heading into tomorrow's final stage. Click here to view the article

  7. 218 kilometers from Indicatore (Arezzo) to Castelraimondo were on the agenda of the day. The course had some difficult offerings in the shape of the Poggio San Romualdo, 10.8 kilometers long with an average gradient of 6.4 %, and a difficult final circuit course.   8. Today’s third stage of Tirreno-Adriatico lead the peloton over 203 km from Cascina to Arezzo. The short but steep uphill finish suited Greg van Avermaet (BMC) best. The Belgian took the win from Peter Sagan (Tinkoff-Saxo) and Zdenek Stybar (Etixx-QuickStep) and also moved into the Blue Leader Jersey. Click here to view the article
  9. Tyler Farrar finished fifth in the bunch sprint closing the second stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. A crash in the closing meters marred the finale, but Farrar was ahead of the scene.   10. The Tirreno-Adriatico will once again be MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung's first World Tour appointment of the season when racing gets underway this Wednesday, 11 March. The event will run over 7 stages, concluding next Tuesday with a 10km ITT. Click here to view the article
