  1. Howzit guys, I have been waiting patiently for a workstation pump to come on special for a few months now and saw this at CWC: http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/pro-performance-floor-pump I know this is a limited time offer so I need to hurry (I actually missed it last time)... But there is one thing that prevents me from buying this, is the T-head value the pump uses. You need to screw it onto the value. I am scared this work damage my value(s). Also, how accurate is the gauge of the pump? If anybody can give me feedback on the pump, I'll greatly appreciate it. I just want to make sure before buying. I don't want to regret my purchase afterward. Thanks. André
  2. My trusty floor pump, bought 20 years ago, expired and I need to get a replacement before Sunday. Can you recommend a good one, please? I use it for both road and MTB tyres. Thanks.
  3. Good afternoon all After taking a sharp turn and eating some soil at Majik Forest I realized that my pump was gone. I only realized this by the time I got home. So I think it must've came loose during my encounter with mother nature. If anyone finds it, please contact me. It is a silver Crank Brothers pump. Reinhardt 0769273665
  4. So I am on vacation in Hibberdene and went to all the trouble of getting my mtb here, only to discover that my pump is still in PTA. Does anybody know of a cycling shop close by, or any other kind of shop were I can get a smallish pump for the holliday. Or maybe a chance of borrowing one whilst I am down here... Please help....
  5. I found a pump at Hollard JUMA – Jozi Urban MTB Adventure 2014 (Marks parks, Johannesburg) Call me if it's yours with brand and description of the pump. Please be honest. Jide: 0728106856
  6. hi All. i am looking for this or anything similar. SmartHead™ ThreadLock http://www.topeak.com/products/Pumps/shthreadlock_upgrade_kit
  7. I have been told by my boss that he has seen a "telescoping hand pump" that will fit in your riding jersey pocket and works way better than simple pumps. This is because the handle firstly pulls out the normal plunger, and then a second sleeve slides out of the pump casing to give a telescoping effect. Effectively 2 pumps in one. I did not like running out of bombs and spending 10 min pumping on the side of the road when i had repeated problems during a race. I do not know what pressure it did, or make or cost. Just heard it exists. I am interested in this item. Anybody know if this exists or have i been misinformed?
  8. I have an icetoolz floor pump. The return valve recently stopped working due to minor influences (kids thought it would be fun to block the outlet and see how much pressure they could build up). I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with one of these? I've managed to open the top seal, but can hear air escaping from the valve between the pressure gauge and hose, and I'm wondering if this is something repairable. I can't open up the bottom section though, it looks like there's some sort of clamp across the bottom section and not sure how to release it. I'm unable to pump shrader valves at all, but can pump up a presta without an accurate gauge reading - I'm guessing that presta's are locking on the valve side when pumping. This is the product: http://icetoolzusa.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=84_102&product_id=166 Gooi weg, or worth a repair attempt?
