Nature’s delicate balance between cars and cyclists was disrupted once again on Friday, as an estimated 16 people were injured when a car plowed through a group of cyclists during a Critical Mass bicycle rally in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It’s the same type of event that occurs often in the U.S., serving as both an anti-automobile protest and a way for cyclists to meet and network. Unfortunately, it also drew a lone nutcase in a small black car who didn’t appreciate the hold-up. Richard Neis, 47, was arrested, admitting that he hit the cyclists intentionally

I bet someone's going to mention the lack of helmets!

Okay what about the helmets? In Brazil they don't have "sissy state" laws like we do....
